My name is Melanie, and my dream has always been to work with animals.

I completed a 3 year, full-time, BTEC level 3 National Extended Certificate in Animal Management. The course developed my practical and theory skills in animal husbandry, animal health and grooming, biology, behaviour & communication, nutrition, animal training and welfare and ethics.

I am also a trained dog groomer, having completed and passed the AIM Level 3 certificate in Dog Grooming.

I have grown up with dogs, having a Dalmatian as a child and now a working Cocker Spaniel. My extended family all have Labradors.
